In an ideal world, it would be the responsibility of the landlord or the company acting on his behalf, to register the rental contract against
apartment, or
villa. However, if your contract hasn’t yet been registered, it’s best you take over.
RERA has authorised
typing centres, Municipality Centers and select Emirates Post Offices where you can easily submit your documents and register. Some centres allow you to upload your documents and get the Ejari contract by email, but make sure you check for additional charges.
