The name Jumeirah is synonymous with luxury living here in Dubai, and few places are more prestigious than JLT. Around 80 gleaming towers with lake views line this vibrant and diverse community, and the development is now one of the city’s most in demand places.
This pedestrian friendly area is full of footpaths that surround the waterways, making it very popular with families, roller bladers, dog walkers and joggers. There are a large number of cafes and restaurants in the area and it’s one of the most pet friendly parts of Dubai.

The development can be found opposite the Dubai Marina between the Sheikh Zayed Road and Jumeirah Islands. Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach Resident are both nearby and easily accessible by foot (in the Winter months!).
As you’d expect from the name, accommodation here is housed within gleaming tower blocks. Properties vary from studios and one beds to luxury penthouses spread across several floors. It’s not one of the most affordable parts of the city, but if you have money to spend and you appreciate a bit glamour it’s a fantastic option.
JLT is organised into 3 clusters of 26 towers named alpha numerically, made up of residential, business and hotel accommodation. Each cluster has its own parking facilities and retail waterfront.
Facilities and Amenities
There are plenty of shops and convenience stores, and the towers themselves all have quality hotel standard facilities. You’ll find lots of cafes, organic food shops and artisanal eateries, as well as all the other facilities you’d expect like laundry services, fitness centres and security.
JLT is particularly popular with high earning singles, couples and young professionals, although there are a good few families living here too.
Roads and Public Transport
JLT is found just off Sheikh Zayed Road and is close to Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lakes Towers Metro stations. Traffic can get busy in the area, so give yourself plenty of time for journey planning. It is well served by taxis and there are also some bus services.
