If you’re looking for some fun outdoors pastimes, nothing beats the grand old barbecue. Now, if you live in a villa consider yourself lucky for all the open spaces in the backyard, but those in apartments are more often than not banned from having a BBQ on their balcony. So, if you’re looking to fire up the grill and enjoy some delectable barbeque treats, we bring you all the amazing barbecue places in Dubai you should visit this season. Read on to know more about our favorite public BBQ places in Dubai.

The first feature on our round-up of public BBQ places in Dubai sits in one of the oldest parks in the city – the Dubai Creek Park. Located right by the Dubai Creek, this park truly is an oasis in the middle of ‘old Dubai’. Considered one of the most popular picnic spots in Dubai, Dubai Creek Park has several cycling spots, children’s play areas as well as gardens and engaging entertainment options for the entire family, which include mini-golf and go-karting. Our favorite two things about this park, however, have to be the cable car (for views of the city that you won’t get anywhere else). So bring a picnic blanket, charcoal, your favorite cuts of meat and fire ’am up at this barbecue spot in Dubai.

Located in Mirdif, this park is another picnic spot in Dubai where you can set up your own barbeque. This park is so massive you can take your car through it! It’s also one of the ultimate, outdoorsy family days out that doesn’t break the bank. Mushrif Park is known for it’s varied flora and fauna, recreational facilities including the Aventura Adventure Park – a treetop, zip line based obstacle course that is as much for adults as it is for children! The park also features designated barbecue areas, so set up camp and spend the day outside.

Al Mamzar Park
This huge park on Dubai’s border with Sharjah has numerous barbecue set-ups, and on cooler days you will find most of them already occupied unless you get there around 10am. Lots of trees provide plenty of shade from the afternoon sun – a much-needed mercy if you’re the one left standing over the coals. This beach park is fantastic with clean beaches and barbecue places, children’s playground, stunning grass areas.

Palm Grill
Palm Grill brings an exciting beachfront dining experience in a laid back environment, complete with 180-degree view of the Arabian Gulf. The venue offers a selection of beach grilled specialties and you are invited to dig into generous buckets of freshly caught seafood, from tiger prawns to Omani lobsters to freshly shucked oysters, complemented by island-inspired cocktails.
Watch the Arabian sunset while enjoying as the restaurant offers beach side grilled specialties on an open grill station served during lunch and dinner.
